cracked lp heads

I pulled the heads off my UT & found some cracks in the flat gasket surface. One is pretty long, 4-5" between combustion chambers, & some smaller ones on the outside water jacket holes coming in to the head gasket sealing ring. I think they can be welded, the crack does not run down into the head chamber. Are they worth fixing since they are hi-compression?

I have a pair of heads gone through by an M&M mechanic and also have a pair of jugs honed and ready to slip in. If interested, email me and I will get the #s to you. $200.00 takes all and shipping is on you.

Got home this evening and realized I also have the pistons, brand new rings(still in the boxs)and a rebuilt radiator. Price still stands to you or anyone out there.

I agree it would take 200 each to fix the ones you have.Put that towards some good ones.

I think if it was me I would just find different ones and have them checked out. I know there are good ones out there. I would only spend the money to have those repaired as a last option. Having said all that it would be a gamble either way you go but all the same look for better ones as replacements.
