I have a 1967 or 1968 G900. When the steering fluid gets hot I have to turn the wheel all the time to keep the wheel straight. Is there parts to repair this problem.

Good luck in getting repair parts. My G950 required too much correction during roading for my liking, so I tried to get a rebuilt kit with a new rotor group. Couldn't get a kit from AGCO, but could get a new steering motor for $2800, and no rebuild kit was available for this new part! Found a NOS steering motor from an old dealer (At work we call then an HMU or hand metering unit) for $1000 and bit the bullet. I'm having a senior moment, but I believe the old hydraulics engineeer at work said the original HMU is a Webster's made in Indiana. Long since bought out by a major hydraulics firm (Eaton or Sundstrand) and have disappeared.

Sounds to me like the orbital valve (Motor) that the steering wheel attaches to. Probably would have to be rebuilt by a hydraulic shop. The power steering pump usually makes it harder to steer when hot, I think you are saying that it won"t stay centered when hot.

Your local Agco dealer should be able to get a powersteering pump repair kit for you. There are some big trucks that used the Eaton pump too.

I just went through this on my 900. Take the pump to your local parts store. They can match it up with a new one. It is a big Saginaw Steering pump. I am sure it would be cheaper than going through AGCO. I think I had just around $100 give or take a few dollars.
