Curious about UBUD on eBay

Does anybody know, or want to speculate on why there have been no bids on that restored 1954 MM UBUD that has been for sale on eBay for the past week? Am I missing something about that tractor? Normally, I would see people bidding on a tractor that looks like that. Paint & decals is certainly not everything, but you would normally see bids after this many days. Just curious. I welcome other opinions.

I have seen this tractor. This guy is losing money if he sells it. They have been through this thing top to bottom and it runs good. If I had the money it would be in my barn.

I have no connection to this auction.

maybe the seller is a bad feedback? location or overpriced. I saw it its location problem for me. however auctions online actully happen in the last few miniuts.

Having been 'sniped' in the last 60 seconds of several auctions in the last 6 weeks, by people who cast no other earlier bids, I guess those with gottahavititis are going to let their computer/snipeware provider do all the bidding.

Yeah, I guess I am a sore loser. Can't compete on their level with my resources.

kelvin i dont understand the details of snipe programs but if you bid your max and someone bids more in the last second you are out bid. isn't that what an auction is for not a buy me now? they do have a proxy system.

You are partly right in that they do outbid my max bid. that is what I mean by limited resources. However, I did happen to overhear a conversation a few months ago that indicated there was some way to overload the system thus preventing anyone else from putting in any upset bids, even if there was time to put them in. And there isn't time to bid again. For instance, one auction I recall the winner's one and only winning bid was put in at 4 seconds to go. And for me, the "you have been outbid" e-mail doesn't even arrive until well after the auction ends.

I don't know about jamming the system but the snipe ware puts your bid in at the last minute. Don't know what good it does in a big bidding war. The idea seams not to bid early so others run the price up on you as my research showed me last night. Most auctions really preform in the last few minutes. I just bid my amount the last day and let it go i to get outbid 75% of the time. Hope this helps.
