I have a 49 GTB with 403-4 engine and 4203 heads on factory gasoline. I powered out at the last hp pull withe only water in front and rear tires.
Rear tires 18.4 34" cuts. Any sugestions? I am working on some 4210 heads to put on. Are the push rods the only thing I'll have to change to do that? Would like to stay as factory as possible atleast on the outside. Those JD fellows are killing me. Help!!!!! thanks Darrel
P.S. Like I told my wife it only takes money!

find you some 4232 heads. Get Mat at MOTEC to fix carb and recurve distibutor, find a 670 intake manifold. bolt everything on and you shouldn't run out of power under 10000lbs classes.

YOu may have to make some spacers for your head bolts if you run out of threads and shorten rocker arm oil tubes. Be sure to run it on high octane gas, E85 blend or propane. or it will detonate with that much compression.
