my mmu weighs 4900 lbs with the cast centers , how much do they weigh?THANX STEVE

I thought it was pretty strange,put it right on the scale at a pull... .Without the belt pully, and with 4 cast wheel weights on it and the hydrolic was on it too..I was not on it and the tank only had aprox 4 gallons of gas..With me on it..aprox 5080 lbs..still pretty light..Steve

How did you get so lucky. My UTU LP weighs 5800 lbs. without any extra weight other than the hydraulic system. The Nebraska test says 5200 lbs.

My 1947 UTU is 5300 with cast centers and no hydraulics or belt pulley. My friend has a 1938 UTN with cast centers, but no extras and it is about 5100.
