M5 hydraulic problems

My M5 is giving me troubles with the hydraulics. I have been swathing hay with a Hestton 1014 and the swather wants to go where it pleases. If I try either direction only the one side hose will jump but nothing will happen. Sometimes it will move if I hold my mouth right.LOL I'm guessing that it is the seals in the valve on the tractor, if not let me know. Next question is how do I take out the valves to replace the o rings? That is if I have to do that to fix the problem.

You said new couplers and ends, are they matching. I have also seen couplers that were made to unscrew so you could uncouple under presure. Also check ends round balls or flat nubs sometimes dont mix. Also what type cyl are you using. MM built a cyl with valves in it. they were made to hold up under presure. The valves may be sticking.

A couple of easy things first, 1. make sure the hoses are coming out of either the top pair of ports or bottom pair 2. then make sure you have good matching set of breakaway couplers so that oil has a way out and back in. I don't know if this has been a on going problem or just new. If it has been on going you may have to readjust the master spool to the three point spool and remote spools.

The couplers are all brand new and the hoses are correctly placed. The tractor hadn't given me problems like this before. How do you readjust the master spool?
