I've been told that the engine could make the power but there aren't enough main bearings in it to hold together.

I have seen a 585 engine run quite well in Super Farm Classes. Not sure what happens when you take them over that.

not old enough. Probably could pull one in some places. I beleive one pulled demostration at Praireville on Sunday night. I weighted 20,000 lbs and took it out of the park.

I should have been more detailed... I mean in ATPA / NTPA Pro Stock, where 680cid is the limit with no turbo limit...

You cant keep a crank in a high horse MM diesel.It takes 2000 horses to be competitive in NTPA-ATPA pro stock.Its not possible with a 585.
