Their is a local Dyno tractor-pull this labor Day weakend. It has 14.9-38 over sized tires and, a narrow front. I do plan on modifing the hitch position. Thanks in an advance.

The easiest and cheapest horsepower boost would be U302 blocks bored to 3.875 and U302 intake manifold and carb. Tuned well, you can get 65 h.p. from it.

i just got first place at the dodge co. power show with my 445. it is mostly stock. stock rpms,13.6 38 tires,and a narrow front. it is 4600 lbs. so I pull in the 5000 50 hp class. I beat out 15 other tractors. i pull on a reworked drawbar thats 18in. high and 18in from the center of the axle. I put 400 lbs. on bracket behind the rear axle.On the dyno I put out 44 hp. some of the later 445 snuck out of the factory at 55 hp or so i am told by an old mm dealer.my tractor sat under an apple tree for more then 10 years so after getting it unstuck ,going through the carb and ignition system 44hp is'nt bad for never going into the motor.

So a 302 and a 209 looks the same on the outside? I simply don't wanna cut-up and butcher the tractor up too much. Wanna keep the clasic vintage look. I just found out today Dad already set us up for a tractor show for Sept 24,25.
