I can't find a date ANYWHERE on this neat 20 page advertising booklet.

Quite a cover photo, though!

There's a lot of equipment illustrated in there that's got to be scarce as hen's teeth today!

Bob, That is a buyers guide for 1963 or 1965.

I have the 1961/62 edition, an the 1964 edition, and it is not either one of them.

MM came out with the 707/708 tractors in 1965 but early in the year they were still advertising the 706 as shown, so I would guess it's a 1965 buyers guide.

MM was going threw some trying times in 1963 with the White buy out, etc. and maybe they didn't print a buyers guide that year. That is just a guess on my part.

Hope this gives you some idea.

Look on the back of the literature. There should be a "Form No" in the lower right or left corner. It will tell you the date. It will be something like A-3 (4-60) This is the Form No. on the back of a peice of M5 literature I have. It was issued in April 1960. Most farm literature can be dated this way.

Nope, not a "form number", copyright date, or ANY other identifier I can see ANYWHERE in the booklet.

Bob,
I can't quite tell from the pic but does the G706 on the cover have an "MM" grill medallion or a "MOTEC" grill medallion that looks like an "M" and an "O" overlayed over each other? I believe the "MOTEC" grill medallion was only used in the first year of G705/6 production. I think I've got that same brochure at home. I'll have to take a closer look at it this weekend.

It appears to have the "MOTEC" emblem.

Bob,
I've got the same book at home. I looked through it in more detail and it's from 1963 for sure as it lists the Jet Star 2 and it was only made in 1963. The G706 on the cover has the "MOTEC" type grill badge but inside it has the "MM" badge. So I'd say the cover tractor was an early 1962 model but the inside pics were either 1963 models or artist touch ups for the "MM" grill badge.

I'm going through an estate with many pieces of old tractor literature.

My main interest is DEERE, but I have a couple of Twin City 12-20's and a GVI diesel, so I'm a little partial to the Minnie Mo's, too.

I have been selling some of the stuff not pertaining to these 2 brands on ebay, but I hang on to the DEERE and MM stuff, unless I find a duplicate.
