I have a set of 4232 heads that leak on the exhaust valves on a pressure check. Can they be repaired? They came off a running tractor that didn't appear to have any problems. Or do they all leak?

If they leak around or between the valve seats they should be repairable. If it's around the sparkplug hole or under the valve it can be difficult.

What does it cost to get them repaired? I have 2 off a vista that leaked on the pressure test between the valves. Will they hold?

My Dad had a 4210 head repaired a year ago and I think it was around $100. Take it to any automotive machine shop and they will most likey send it to a shop that specializes in fixing heads.

What kind of pressure is used for checking heads? 40 lbs?
