Wheel Paint Color

Can anyone out there tell me what the correct color is for the 1950 Z wheels and rims? And where can I obtain it in Wisconsin? Fleet Farm has the gold and I have been told that it is good paint. Has anyone had experience with their paint and is the color accurate? Thanks!

I used CaseIH red on mine. I have heard of others using the same. The original was a little brighter than IH red. The whole rim is red with center hub Praire Gold,at least my dads 1950 that he bought new was.
I have used some of that paint, and as far as I know it is accurate.
I can email you a picture if you like. I do make some reproduction parts for MM's, I can send you a list if you like.

Thanks! I'll proceed with the IH Red. Am putting on new tires and want the rims painted before we mount them. When I paint the rest of the tractor the centers will be gold as well.

If you want to send your picture (s) and what you are making it is appreciated. Another question just came up; this has the delux seat, where the cushions black?
