Can someone give me pros and cons of this beast? How many horse? Reliability? Things to watch for? Price in Southern Indiana in average condition?
Is this a lemon? or a good one?
Any input appreciated.
Thanks Reaver

Just came from baling with my 2270. Tractor rated at 150 plus horses. Decent on fuel long as not working hard. Only problem I have had with mine in 5 years is the pto. It is a hydraulic clutch that engages and disengages pto. When it goes hydraulic oil seeps into the rearend. It is about a 1000$ touch to repair. Make sure the motor has the external oil pump as the original internal pump starved the motor until it took the crank out. The rear half of the tractor is Oliver and the motor MM. Over under gives problems, mine leaks so it won't shift properly.

Price wise I would say 4-5000 in good shape. In Canada they don't bring as much. I paid 2700$ Canadian for mine. I see them on dealer lots for usually 4000$ Canadian or about 3200US

Really good tractor, make sure has outside oil pump. Bad part expensive to overhaul, about $300.00 a piston. Shep from VA. just overhauled his G-1355. Hope this helps Larry.
