UB brake disc

I need new brake disc for my UB, and was told that they were the same as Farmall M disc. I don't have a M brake disc to compare it to, but don't want to buy them and then find out they don't work. Has anyone else heard or tried this? Agco wants $70 apiece for them, and I've seen Farmall M's for $15 apiece.

They were the same part number for UB and Farmall M in the Temco catalog in 1995, so I put a set of theirs in my '54 UTS with disk brakes. My only problem was that I adjusted the left side a bit too tight and overheated those 2. (Running around the neighborhood in 5th gear showing off my tractor.) I replaced them with the genuine Farmall parts and had no problems. (When I needed the second pair, temco hadn't had a boat from china in a while.)

Another guy on this very forum said they fit too tight and he couldn't get them to work in his tractor.

Another guy said he took the discs and housing to a machine shop and they cut the housing a bit deeper to make them work.

Either route you go the goop they put on the plates will have to be removed from the splines so they will fit on your shafts. At least I have had to do that most times I install new discs on something.
