UB wide front end

Has anyone seen a UB model with a wide front end (not a high crop tractor either) and how common are they?

I bought a UB with a wide front end and it looks like it should be on a G, U special or someother model, plus it has a steering linkage that sticks out to the side. It makes the tractor set a few inches lower in the front end than it should. The owners manual books that I bought show a model with a wide front end.

Is the wide front end on the UB interchangeable with other models?

I have a ub with a factory wide front, also several years ago took took one of our other ub's a converted it ovet to use the wide front off of a M602...he says it was easy to do, it looks really good, and it helped out on how the tractor drives

Joe, you may have an UBE, they came from the factory with a wide adjustable front end. They were built in '53, '54, and '55. The serial number in 1953 started with 05900001
1954 started with number 05900897 and 1955 started with number 05901069.
