I have a 1958 five star diesel standard that runs but needs motor work. Is it worth restoring or just part out?

A lot depends on the condition of the rest of the tractor (and how much time and money you want to invest). Remember, "Anything that can cast a shadow can be restored"! If it was mine and the overall condition was fair to good, I'd restore. Good luck!

I own 3 58 model 5 stars lp, gas, & diesel. I can tell you that body parts and gauges are a little tricky to find but you can find them and all the other parts you may need can be found on different model tractors and that the beauty of MM equipment. The price all depends on you and that is if you are buying or selling. I would be happy help you out if you want to keep it and fix the old gal up.
