I saw one at a local show last year. It was a brown belly tractor like the 4-star. Mechanically, it appeared to be the same. I believe that production of the 335 ended in 1961.

I have seen several 335 Specials and we have one in the family collection. The story I heard from my dad was that the 335 Specials were made after the main production line for 335 was dis-continued. I believe (without checking my books) 50 units were in '60 and '61. There was no mechanical differences between the regular 335s and the Specials but the Specials were painted with the "Brown Belly" like the 4 Stars. They were produced due to the requests from dealers in areas where small tractors were still in high demand and MM had nothing else to offer at the time.

Hopefully, someone else can fill in the remaining blanks or add more details.

I think Mohr's can help if you need a 'special' decal. Other than that, most restored 335s I've seen were decaled like the later regular production and were yellow hood, fenders, wheels and brown chassis just like the jetstar2s.
