Splitting a ZAU

Looks like its necessary to split the Z and replace the crank seal amd might as well replace the clutch disc while I am at it. After I support the rear end with blocks I plan on picking up the back of the engine with my cherry picker and move it away from the the rear section. Its a tricycle and I am concerned about it tipping over. Should I get another picker to support the front of the engine? What have others experienced? Thank You.

what I did was support the rear and with my cherry picker raised the front slightlywith my chain attached to the motor. removed the radiator and front end then removed the engine

What we did with the ZB was to chain the front to the rafters, support the rear of the engine, put the bell housing on a dolly that had a bottle jack bolted to it and roll the back end away from the front.
