If you would like to make a trip of it,,, I would start by going to Humboldt SD. This is only a few miles West of Sioux Falls off of I 90. They are hosting our Siouxland Collectors Club. We are planning on around 100 MM items. They also have around 60 acres that we can play with. That is Aug 12-14. Then you can spend the week in SD, come and visit with all of us MM collectors on the plains. Then the following weekend Aug 19-21 is the MMCI Summer Show in Montiviedio MN. This looks to be a great show also.
Hope this works out for you. Should be a blast Mike

Not sure it is one of the best, but every year we travel to the Amana Colonies outside Iowa City over Fathers Day weekend (this coming weekend. At Homestead they have a MM show on the old dealer's ground and an Allis show on the opposite end of town. The Homestead MM dealer was the largest west of the Mississippi. With a large outlet mall one exit west of Homestead, and a very large "normal" mall just west of Iowa city that the women may like. Amana also has a lot of shops which I could easily pass up but "they" seem to like.
