Z wiring

I am getting ready to wire the ZAU basket that I bought and it appears that the wiring should be the same as the B chalmers I wired last winter but I would like to confirm it. It appears to be positive to ground and the battary wire should come from the center tap on the regulator. Is that right or wrong? I have a friend in the sign bussiness and he can make adhesive backed decals that can be put on the glass at the bottom of the gages with the tractor type and model. They have to be sissor cut in a semi circle before they are pasted on. Had them done on my Cockshutt 30 and they look good. Is anyone interested? Jerry

Definately Positive ground if using a generator. The battery wire goes from the BAT terminal on the regulator to the ammeter, from the other ammeter post to the starter hot post. usually the terminal on the regulator has BAT stamped on it.
The wire from the 'L' ('Load' terminal) on the regulator goes to the hot lug on the 5 position switch.

Thanks Kevin: The regulator is the original on and it might not even work. I cleaned and painted it but I might need a new one. I couldn't find any markings on the connections.
