Well, I finally got my first tractor. A gas Jet Star three. It starts and runs great! Put new tires on it and drove it home. It has wheel weights, three point hitch, and origanal MM loader. The only thing it's missing are the sheet metal sides covers on the engine and the name plate on the front. Where is the best place to get parts and info about my tractor? How do I find the right color paint etc? I'm in eastern Pa. I paid $3200 for it which didn't seem to bad, but I'm rather new at this. Just had to tell some one about my tractor, my wife wasn't all that excited about it!

The earlier JetStar 3s didn't have a name plate. That might have come at about the time of the White merger. I've had a 1964 model for a chore tractor for 18 years. I don't have 3 point or power steering. Has factory loader by Schwartz. I've used it for pushing snow, lifting, pulling hay mower, rake, baler. Real handy tractor, I think.

For those side covers, call Don Rice 585-243-2617. I know he is parting out some jetstar3s.

For that front trim you might have to get up with Alan Kuhlman, if I'm not mistaken somenone in his family was reproducing them. I don't have his number.

Congratualtions!! Price sounds good, too! Why are wives like that. My wife was like that when I bought my first as well. In fact she was like that until she fell in love with a ZTE at an auction we were at. So I bought it for her. I bought her a G allis a couple of years ago. Those are the only two tractors I've ever gotten a show award with. Never with one of mine.

She'll warm up if you can get her to drive and use it.

Jenseles has about every imagineable manual. You should have an operators manual and repair manual or an IT manual. I think paint is under "Paint Codes" on this site.
