Can not find year and model information for this s

We have a Minnioplois Moline, and the serial # is 16900451. I have checked the gas model listings in the serial number search, on this site,without results.

We are unable to find out what year and model it is. Can anyone help us with this issue.

Thank you for any information anyone has on this tractor.

Debbie,
KPL is correct. You most likely have an M5. Your engine serial number corresponds with a build year of 1960. The tractor serial # is on a plate on the side of the transmission and should be between 17100001 and 17101535 for a 1960 M5 gas.

Thanks, We now know for sure it is a M-5, however, the serial number is not correct. We are working on that now.Thanks again, this was driving me nuts!! I looked through each of the gas serial number listings in the site! Thanks again, I will keep everyone who assisted in this updated. Thanks again, Deb

Look back farther on the tractor. Should be a tractor S/N. Post it here and someone can tell you what it's.

I believe this is an engine serial number. It is for a 335-4 engine for a M5 tractor. I can't tell you what year though. There should be another plate on the tractor itself, but I don't know where it is.

It is number 418th made that year.

Ok, Now if I could enlist your help again, I need a radiator for this thing. Any suggestions would be again greatly appreciated. Thanks, Deb

Model is 336-4 This was wrote down before covering up the tractor. However, I don't think the serial number is correct. We are checking that again, there is supposed to be yet another number on the tractor, not on the plate.

Debbie, send me a picture. We'll need to exchange emails to do that. Or you could post it on this site (I don't know how to do this). I don't recognize the number either. There are lots of numbers on the tractor so this may be a casting number.

Thanks, I will get a picture of this creature, when we get it uncovered again. It certainly needs much TLC. We have restored worse though!

We covered this up, because we are building yet another tractor building! Out of Room, AGAIN! Got to love it!!

We were told today, where to look for yet another number, so when hubby gets back in town, we will uncover it again. We Do know, it is a 336-4 engine for an M-5 so now all we have to do is get the right number, to see what year it is.
