Hey all,

Can you tell me the value of a JTU? It's running (who knows how good as oil pressure gauge doesn't work), unpainted, governor is inoperable, has leaks front to back on the tractor, has some poor welding work on the air cleaner posts, some visible JB weld in spots on metal, and shows some body work needed to be done like small rustholes in fenders and dented in top-front part of radiator. Oh, also starts with at least 2 choked cranks on the crank. Just curious what it's worth in its current state.

Shoot, did my name scare everyone away from this topic? ??? Just looking for a value so I know how much to pay if I buy it. Man, seems like you have to have money in your hand for anyone on this website to notice you, all the action is in the classifieds. This MM tractor collecting or even the websites are turning into nothing but a bunch of trading. Hardly any repairing talk or just sharing stories. Terrible..... .i'll go back to working on and using my few MM's that I have, thanks.

Sorry no one answered your question. I'll give it a shot. A couple questions first,,, does it have the original motor, alot have been changed to RE motor. If the right motor is in it, what shape is the manifold? On steel or cutoffs or factory rubber?? Some of the last ones I've heard of selling have been around $1K for orginal and loose, maybe running. On rubber.
But I'm wrong alot of the time,, just ask my wife
