I bought a Z that was in parts and I know where the oil line goes from the pump to the gage but their is another fitting on the side of the motor above the dip stick and I don't know where it is suppose to go to. I need some expert help. Jerry

I believe that is for the "overflow" from the hyd res. There is a line that comes from the top of the hyd res. to that fitting. If there is too much oil in the res. it is vented and dumped in the motor.

That is probably the air vent for the hydraulics. You should be able to stick a wire in there 1-2" and not hit anything if you feel around.

Thanks a lot fellows. I thought of the answer about an hour after I posted the question. I have removed the hydralics and forgot about the resivour for the oil.
