Hey guys, whats the best MM shows to attend this year? I'm in Michigan but don't mind traveling although the gas prices are cramping my style. Is there a list? Thanks in advance....Fred

I would suggest that you take a little over a week off. Then drive to South Dakota. August 12-14 is the show in Humboldt. They are hosting the Siouxland Collectors Club. We are planning on over 100 MM tractors and equipment. Everything from harvest to tillage. There will be over 60 acres to play with.
The following weekend is the MMCI Summer Show in Montevideo MN. A weekend with more working activities.

Yes, the Kalamazoo show is June 24, 25 and 26. This is a really great show and the grounds are as nice as you will find any place in the USA. If you need directions to the show, I have a flyer for the show I could scan and send email you or copy and mail to you. Hope to see you there, it is going to be a great show.

Please come to the show! in reply to fredmich, 04-09-2005 18:06:46
Please come to the Prairie Gold Rush show in Hickory Corners, MI. It is put on by the Kalamazoo Valley Tractor and Machinery Club and held at the Gilmore Car Museum (one of the best in the country they say). There is 90 acres of show grounds and big red barns full of antique and classic cars. It's a nice place and this is going to be a nice show. All tractors are welcome, but MM is the feature.

I'll try my best to be there, need to see some MM's so I can restore our "new" '47 UTU right. I sure wish I had the time to do the old girl up for this show, but I'm into the farming sport and this is one of our busy times...Gotta make the National Thresher's Show at Wauseon the same weekend too....so many shows, so few weekends....all summer long.

Thanks guys for the replies. I do have a 2005 Show Guide that I get with my Antique Power subscription and it does list the Kalamazoo show but doesn't mention that MM is featured. It sounds great and its now on my calender. South Dakota sounds great too! When I rode my Motorcycle through there in 2001 on my way back from Sturgis (man was it hot!) I met the friendliest people there. Thanks again...Fred
