I have a 53 ZAS that currently is missing the shock absorber that goes under the seat and has a small coil spring which sits independently outside of the shock. Can anybody tell me what the part number might be for the shock or where I might order one? Thanks in advance.

Dennis

All the moline seats I've seen have the shock absorber inside the coil spring. They also have 4 parallel bars between the seat and its mount that allow the seat to pivot. The shock/spring assembly sits between the bars.

The way you describe yours, it sounds like aftermarket. If its like I'm thinking, it sounds more like what was used on some Farmalls and Internationals.

If you need just the shock you can go to your local golf cart place and pick up and pretty close match to what you have. They work quite well.

Hi everyone and thanks for helping me out. Today l found more information on the seat from my No. R-1072d repair catalog. It is the group 2 seat also known as Flote-ride. The M.M. parts number is 10B2036 which consits of a cotter and GM120123. Does this information still agree with what you guys thought? Cliff l would e-mail you a) if l had your adress and b)is the assembly you are talking about from a golf cart or tractor seat ? Thanks for all this info. guys.

The shock absorber is "only" the shock from the supension on the axles of the cart.
