does anyone have any ideas for a good starting point so i can find out where my moline was originally sold and who bought it?

That data may just be permanently lost, if you don't know the history of the tractor already.

However, About a year ago there was an article in either the MM Corresponder or the Prairie Gold Rush that said one of the employees of White Farm or Agco had saved right much factory information on MMs. The article indicated that the information was being examined to see if build dates could be determined for specific tractors. I haven't seen any updates on this project, so I don't know any more about it.

The museum in Charles City IA has all the information on bill cards (I think that is the right term). These are for the later tractors. The information would include tire size, front end variations, dealer it was sent to, etc. The problem is that it is all coded. I've heard talk of Club members going to Charles City and sorting it out and making it avaliable. A possible future project. Mike
