I recently bought a nice MM model UTU built in 1947 S/N 330797. I'm gonna restore this tractor and need a muffler of the correct type(preferred, that is) and need to know which decals are right, the big "MM's" put on the fuel tank or the "MInneapolis-Moline" put on the hood with the "U" model designation? Also where is the best source for the correct paint? Thanks to anyone who can help me.

Elden, go to www.minneapolis-moline.com. Then click on decal placement. They have a section for the correct placement of decals on a U. They say that it was either on the hood or on the tank but not on both at the same time. As far as the muffler, post back if you ever find one, I am looking for one for a '39 Z. A while back a man posted on here saying he was thinking about making some. (LucasD) post title (MM Mufflers) Mabey if he sees this he will post back with info.
