Does an RTU use the same oil filter cartridge as a Z?

yes. NAPA 1108 or equivalent.

Thanks Kelvin.
Tomorrow I'm picking up a 1950 RTU that runs well and is in pretty nice shape. I also have a 52 RTU that we will be taking parts from.
I'm brand new to M-M's; lots of experience with Fords, JD's and Farmalls. Got an operator's mauual, MM Service manual, I-T manual and have ordered a parts manual.
So I'm giving you a "heads up!" Fasten your seat belt because I'm likely to be shooting a bunch of questions at you.
