I am working on getting my ZAS all squared away and had a question. The rear tires are currently 12.4-36 and the rims are near shot. All the other ZA's i have seen have 38's. What is original rear tire size for this tractor? Also, does anyone know where i can find a wiring harness for this tractor?

Matt at Motec makes wiring harnesses. Last price I heard was $50. 765-963-6628. There was one on my '51 ZAS when I bought it and it looks good.

I don't have my parts book handy, but my '51 ZAS has 38" tires. 11-38, I think. It uses the same rim as the ZAU as far as I know, just the dish is turned inside.

Moline did some stuff by special order, though. I have a '53 ZAS with 26" rims (The rims are not factory) and industrial front axle.

Kelvin was right about the tire size being 11-38 pneumantic tires. We just recently finished restoring a 53 ZAS and had the original operation and maintenance manual with it which confirms the tire size as stated. If you have any other questions about your 53 ZAS, feel free to get in touch.

Thanks a lot Kelvin. I have a 53 ZAU located for a parts tractor and i wanted to take the 38" rims off that but i wanted to keep the tractor as original as possible. I appreciate your help.
