Does anyone know the approximate year that the Company changed to the logo in which you have the word "Minneapolis" stacked ABOVE the word "Moline", with "Moline" being the larger of the two words, both in the color red? I am thinking somewhere between 1955 and 1960, but I want to narrow it down the exact year, if possible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The JetStars had the newer logo and they came out in 1959. Also the brown mule Uni-tractors did. Our MM hayrake does and that has to be late 50s.

Is there any chance the logo change happened when MM was taken over/reorganized in the mid/late 50's? I think that is when the company was broken up into different divisions, such as foundry, agricultural, industrial, lawn & garden, etc.

The earliest I have seen it is on My 1958 5 star standard LP. The color is black but I have seen the logo in Red on the 1959 5 stars as well. But the 5 stars also had three major logo changes in the few years they where built. The red color seems to be the last change on them. I am sure it was to open the door for the new M5 models rolling out.
