I have a M&M-Z #04600502 Engine #206F405100514. Wide Front end. 24" rear rubber. I can't identify it. Could use some help. It does have a lifhook on both side and a brass tag that shows how to lift with a crane???

Thanks in advance
Fillroy

According to a MM book I have, The tractor you have is a 1952 MM ZASI a military tractor. They were built for the US Air Force. The engine was a model 206F-4 which was used exclusively in these tractors. This is a 206-ci displacement with a 3 5/8 in x 5 in bore & stroke. There were 515 of these tractors built, yours appears to be the next to last one off the line. These tractors came with a foot clutch, foot throttle, shielded ignition, and the oil filter was moved to the side of the emgine.

Hope this helps.

The book I got the info out of is "Minneapolis-Moline Farm Tractors" by Chester Peterson Jr. & Rod Beemer. There ia a picture of the MM ZASI on page 44 and the story is on page 44-48. Another picture on the top of page 49 with 2 other MM military tractorsThe Serial Number info is found on page 120.
