I bought the castings today to make a toy MM corn sheller but need some photos to go by. My dad worked for another farmer and shelled a lot of corn with one of these I think. It was one you could tow behind a pickup. Thanks

Are these a one time casting or are they reusable? My Dad wore out 3 Model E shellers. I would like to get or make a 1/16 scale sheller to go with my 1/16 UTU tractor like he used with the sheller. Where could I get info about the castings?

FYI I see discussion about Model E and Model D. The Model E was the bigger one and had a real appetite for corn.

An easy way to tell the difference is, looking from the rear of the sheller..On the Model E the shelled corn elevator is on the RIGHT side, the Model D is on the LEFT side.

These are aluminum castings, not the molds, so I guess they can only be used one time. I bought the parts at a toy show and the guy said they were made by the son or grandson of someone who made Slik toys. I have a picture from the internet of one that has already been assembled and painted. I will send you the photo if you reply to [email protected]
