Asking for a friend:

1. to disassemble the water pump, do you press the shaft through from the impeller side?

2. Is it possible to add a 3-point to the G900 wheatland using all MM parts? Would parts from a G1000 row crop work?

On that 3 point. MM Didn't like to change too many things so they kept using the same parts as long as they could. I'm sure most of the parts from a 1000 3 pt. would bolt right on that 900 wheatland. If you have the wide swing drawbar, that will even have to be changed to make room for the arms. All the plumbing and controls would have to be moved too. One thing to look for, does the 900 have closed center hydraulics. If it does, then it will be a lot harder. I presume that 1000 Row crop doesn't. The old tele-flow 3 point won't work on closed center. If their the same old gear pump type, I think you should be able to get it to work with some thought.

The hydraulic remotes will be totaly removed because on MMs the the valves are in the same casting along with the 3pt. cylinder and rocker shaft.

Kelvin, that correct on the water pump. You might want to heat the impeller a bit before you put it in the press and then cross your fingers or whatever good luck ritual you practice. I broke one the other day but luckily I had another in reserve. On the three-point, I don't know.
