I have used rhubarb juice on a 220 stationary engine with aluminum pistons. Poured some in with the heads off, let it sit for a few days to let it seep around the rings(was a lot of crud)then blew around it with an air hose and poured some more in and repeated the process. It did come loose. They told us at vo-tech to use coke so a friend of mine got a couple of cans, poured one in the motor and drank the other one...I don't remember if it worked but he said it seemed like a good idea.

Depends on how stuck it is. I bought a Farmall C that was in a flood. (Water over the hood). Then froze good and hard, then sat for another seven years. Beating one piston out with the sleeve was about my only option

Use Diet Orange Pop. You will be amazed. It has to be diet. Do not leave where it will freeze or sit a long long time. Any brand as far as I know. I have not tried diffrerent brands but a friend uses it and his kids did a whole science project on it.

Will that orange pop work to free good rings that are rusted tight in good pistons without breaking them out? I think I'll try a couple cans on one I got out. It won't eat up my aluminum pistons, or will it?

I know a fellas kids used it on rusty keys for a period of time. Root Beer and Vernors did nothing, Coke and Pepsi did some and cleaned them, Orange did not much, but diet Orange produced a great shiny shiny key. Hey unlocked many small engines and used it on a Ford tractor and had it running good the next day. Not sure it would help you out, but I'd test it on some aluminum first maybe.

I have never tried it as it sounds strange, but a buddy of mine uses water. He swears by it.

I use tranny fluid and let it sit a few days then top it off with turpinetine hasn't faled me yet

I hook a hyd hose in the spark plug hole and use the hyd of another tractor to push the piston down you will have to make sure all the valves are closed take the rockers off or you may have to change hole.

The last guy I heard tried that failed to note the piston was at TDC. Took the center main saddle right out of the crankcase.
