A friend and I are trying to find out how many of these tractors are here in the good 'ole USA and Canada. These are the "U"s that can be identified by the 108 serial number prefix. I personally have number 10800536 (found in a salvage yard in North Dakota several years ago) which is a 1958 model. I know that there are later tractors than this one, but I have never seen a list with an ending number. Can anyone here provide any additional information or serial numbers of known tractors?

I also have one of these export models. Mine spent all its time in Utah, where it still is. I will have to check my number but I think mine is the 2nd or 3rd to the last one out of the factory.

Interesting, I would like to see that serial number. How do you know that it is one of the last ones made? I only ask this question because maybe you can shed some light on how many were actually made or to put it another way, maybe you can provide some info on the last tractors serial number.

Hi, I rechecked the Tractor serial number for my UTSD-M as well as looked up some information I have on serial numbers and production numbers. My tractor is #10800545, that makes it a very late 1958. A total of 1699 UTSD-M were built, with 160 of them being built in 1958. The lead serial number for 1958 was #10800391. Using math is would appear that the last UTSD-M would have been 10800551. Of course errors can always exist but we can draw a resonable conclusion from these number comparisons. I would assume your and my tractors were probably in the factory at the same time. How is your tractor optioned? Is your tractor rebuilt? Mine has the M-M version of "Live Power". I am just about ready to begin my engine rebuild. What engine number is your tractor? Regards, Alan

The Postma brothers in Lynden, Washington had two, I believe with consecutive serial numbers- they sold at their auction last year- don't believe they went to the same place.

It doesn't matter much but I am curious about the condition of the twin UTSD-M's that were sold at auction and if you know what the sale price was for them? I just never see these tractors listed or the results of sales. Alan

10800001-10800245 1956
10800246-10800390 1957
10800391 1958
That is all I have but if you go to the MM registry there could be some more information there as to how many if any tractors that some one has sent in to Brian Rukes to log on there. Here is the site! www.angelfire.com/ok/mmreg/
