Need to know how much pressure should a hyd. pump on a average should produce on the exhausted or pressure side. I gauge it, running about 1000 lbs,in the neutral prosition, and 1200 lbs forward position, is this about normal. This system is a uni-matic system. what is a replacement clyinder for this tractor looks like about 8 inch stoke.

I don't have specs, but that 1200psi sounds about right. The older systems didn't develop the pressure the new ones do. And the seals wouldn't stand it if they did.

The MM cylinder has check valves in it, since the system is open to the tank in neutral. I'm told Welters Farm Supply has check valves. They must be plumbed into the hoses between the control valve and the cylinder. 417-498-6496.
