Hello,
I brought home this 445 that runs good but, the tork is out of it on the low side, the tractor actually stops if you put the brakes on with it in the low side, but high it seems to be just fine. and also when i loaded it on the trailer, oil and sludge ran out of the insection hole on the left side of the flywheel. i think that is the timming hole.
i do have a repair manual for it, and i checked at my local agco dealer and the clutch plates are still available for the tork, but wow are they pricey.
any of you ever have one apart and what all am i looking at fixing.
thanks for any ideas
Shawn

the hole on the left side is to set the timing you should see the flywheel in that hole also thats where the clutch is not supposed to be any oil in there at all if you have oil in there you got a big oil leek either rear engine or front trans

If the high side works OK, the clutches are good.
The low side drives by a roller clutch (a one way clutch). If the ramps that the rollers run on and the hub that the inside of the rollers run on aren't too bad, you might get by with just replacing the rollers and springs. Sometimes the rollers develop flat spots and the springs get smashed. The bearings could also be worn. All this is assuming that the whole assembly hasn't been replaced by the newer style. You can email me at [email protected] if you have any questions.
John

Check the trans fluid level, my Big Mo trans was full to the top of the shifter tower when new to me, oil ran out everywhere when running.
