Pump on 5 star same as UB

Does any one know if injector pump off UB will fit a 5 star It has a American Bosch pump It runs but it runs wide open will not idle down. Have found one off UB but need to know if it will fit before he ships it Thank you Dave

Keep in mind that the UB has a 283 cubic-in engine and the 5 Star is a 336. I do not know if the UB pump can be adjusted to work on the 5 Star or if you will need to change internal parts of the pump to get the proper fuel delivery.

If you woundering if the couplers from the two tractors will interchange and bolt up yes they will. I have a parts book for both tractors and they list the same numbers. The problem you will run into will be the plumbing of the diesel lines but I think you can get around that O.K. I have the books if you would like proof and can scan copies to you if you want.
