When I was growing up we hadda red MM that we used at the boy scout camp. I have no idea what it was, since I was like 5 years old at the time.

It was smaller then the John Deere B my dad bought far as overall tractor size.

It had a wide front end, fenders, and kinda looked like a zts ut or real close to a zasi maybe?


Anyone have a any input that would be helpful?

Id like to find another one of these someday to go with the tractor I have now...

I have seen a Massey tractor that was completely Moline made. I don't remember the model of it, but it is in my town. Even the serial number and decal was MM.

Matt, You may be remembering an Avery/MM tractor. In 1951 MM bought the BF Avery company and began selling their line of tractors as MM. The Avery line was initially red, but MM painted them prairie gold with red wheels, attached MM decals, and sold them as MM. However in the early days of the buy out there was one model, (I believe it was the "V") that was red. Check out the pictures of the Avery tractors in the Tractor Photo gallery of this site and see if you see one you recognize. Also check out the MM photos and look for the MM models: BF, BG, and V. They were formerly Avery tractors.

For some reason I dont think it was a avery. From what Iremembered it seemed stouter/smaller then the JD we had.

Then a few years later it was sold cuz the motor quit from the scouts abusing it :( Then I heard a chevy motor was swapped in it cuz it was a simple swap.

To bad a I can't find any pics of this tractor....

Here is an MM "BF" with wide front and blade. It was a stocky little power house in its day.
