I have convienced our local pulling club to allow anything "59 and older to compete. I was contemplating with a G vi. But I don"t know if I can put a narrow front on it or not. I also not sure if I can get it in the 7500# and 8000# classes. I need to pull against 560"s with 18.4-38 inch rubber. Thanks.

I have a Gvi that I put together last fall 6800# didnt do allot of striping.Took power steering off, crown fenders, seat with the hydraulic valves and pump, used cast wheels off a U to get 38 inch wheels and 18.4x38 tires.Made a lighter pulling hitch also took the heavy wish bone off the front axle.Repaced the 425 engine with a 605 well motor.1st time out got 3 full pulls in 7000,7500and8000#.When I get my F30 hubs on and presed steel wheels will get down to 6500.

Thanks for your response, I am excited about this coming pulling season. I was wondering if you had a factory narrow front on it. Thanks, John.
