May look strange, but how about a pair 6.00-16 front tractor tires? Salvage yard used to get $25 for tire and wheel.

Per Titan tires 6.00-16 is 29" OD and 6.7" section width on a 4" wide rim. No real good car tire match - 225/60-16 is pretty common on vans but only 26.7" dia and it wants to be on a 6" wide rim - a 4" would be a real challenge esp on a steel belted radial. Truck tires better diameter match but not as common 225/75-16 is 29.5" dia and it is 9.1" wide on a 6" rim - probably about an inch narrower on a 4" wide rim if you can get it on. You might want to check ebay or post in want ads for used 6.00-16 - they should be pretty common and I've seen a pair go for about $60 new on eBay.

Something like a 215/16 a 235/16 is a 7:50/16 so the 215 should be about right
