I need a pair of 8" by 36" rims for a Twin City J tractor. New or good used, I would appreciate any leads. I am located in SE Minnesota.

John

Are you lookng for the rims that go on the cast hubs held on with a circular round stock rod? That is the setup I have. One rim is rusted out and has been patched. Tried to measure width and came up with 6 inch rim, although it was hard to measure so I could be wrong on that. ZT's of the same 37-39 era used the same hubs & rims. I am looking for one rim of this nature so if you run across that kind and its not what you need let me know. I am about half a state north of you.

Here in Illinois, I can go to the local truck tire dealer and he can order rims, 36" rims to bolt onto the center casting are the same rim industry wide. Variables are rim width and sometimes the number of "steps" in them. I've got JD rims on a U, 38", some of the IH tractors used 36" rims. On my J I used 8" x 36" rims and widened them to 12". Hope this helps.
