Leaked oil out the pto seal when I raised my 3-point mower to high and put pressure on the pto shaft. Is there some type of check plug for the transmission/rear end? Or do I need to drain the system and fill back to book capacity of 22 gallons? Thanks for any help. Jason

Yes, there is a plug on the Vista to check the oil. It is below or behind the rear battery. It may be a plug in the transmission case or a cap on a tee that you remove and expose a drip hole depending on the year. Remove it and fill it until it starts coming out. I usually just remove the big plug behind the swing out battery box that is for adjusting the torque and pour oil it there. It is easier and you are by the plug when it starts to come out.
