Which carb do i need??

I was thinking of finding a carb off a G or GB to increas the gas to my uts. i just read that the carb is way too big for the Uts. what carb do i need?? Thanks for any help. TR

There is s difference in the G and the U Carbs, but it is how the linkage mounts on the carb. Lets see, you wanted cheap horse power..... Try setting or adjusting the valves with a compression tester after it is warmed up a little. Electronic ignitions help along with the swapping of heads from an LP tractor and there are numerious ways to increase torque and HP on a Moline....deadeye Get a hold of Matt at Motec.com for questions and answers about carbs. He is very knowledgeable and will help you..

TSX68 from GTB (also seen on GB but not per book) is 1 1/16" venturi vs TSX67 from U / UTS, etc (also on my UB) 15/16" venturi. based on MS parts list, they are identical carbs incl linkage except for venturi and Power Adj jet in bottom of carb. Believe they were replaced by TSX625 (same venturi as TSX68) and TSX624 (same venturi as TSX67). So if you are modifying, probably need to address jet also - or you could presumably split the difference and build a custon 1" venturi with a TSX67 or TSX68 body and correct Venturi and PA jet. Agree - you should talk to MOTEC.

Call Evert bros. in Ohio and he should have a venture to fit because it is the same carb. but differnt venture.

More gas does not necessarialy mean more HP. How many cubic inches are you running now?

Then I suggest you get up with the MM boys that pull and find out which heads you need that'll make HP on a stock motor.

From what I read on here 4210 heads are pretty good, also running a M5 manifold helps. I don't pull so can't give first hand advice.

Thanks for the help. I havent pulled this one yet, os looking forward th the upcoming pulling season. I pull a McCormick W-9 now and it does wery good. Hope the mini goes as well. Tr
