Have a 1938 MM UDLX with 12.75 x 32 tires as original. Where can I find new tires in this size?

Find a nice pair of used 14x32's.You may have to buy the tractor they are on.

easier said than done - maybe you can suggest a tractor - so far I have looked in 1946 and 1955 Red Book and only found International I9/ID9 with tires that big on 32" rims - maybe some of the other Internationals such as W9/WD9 had them as options. Best luck. Ed

MMEd, Over the years I have owned 10-15 tractors with 14 or 15x32's on them.Some include W,WA,WD,WK-40 McCormicks,15-30 & 22-36 McCormicks,21-32 Twin Cites,1938 UTS MM,GT MM,and more.

Many-many old tractors out there still have 32" rear tires on them.I've got a friend 4 miles away with a 21-32 TC with 15x32's on it that I found for him.Back in the 1970's I used to buy every pair of 32's that I ran across at the junkyards.You could pick them up for a song back then.Most came off tractors on cut down steel wheels.Most every 15-30,22-36,or WK-40 McCormick I ever found had 32" rear tires on it.

I have a GTA I that I have had almost a year now and looked hard to just find one used tire and good rim. At this point in time I don't even care if it will match the one I have. I totally agree with what you said about buying the whole tractor just for the tires. Especially for a UDLX because of the fact of they why the fenders are on it. But I know you know that, at least with th eothe rtractor you have a better chance of changing the tire size all together and don't have to worry about fender clearance.

Kevin, I think that less than a year ago there was a nice 22-36 McCormick for sale on here for $900 at Canton,KS.It had nice 14-15x32 Wards Power-Tracs on it.Would have made some cheap tires for a UDLX and sell the rest.

I remember being at the Dodge City,KS junkyard in the mid 70's.They were busting up 300-400 old tractors.I watched them knock a nice WK-40 McCormick apart.I stopped them and got what was left of the motor,etc.There was row after row of 15-30 and 22-36 McCormicks with 32" rear tires.I remember seeing I dont know how many 1938-39 UTS MM's with 32" rear tires.There were L Cases everywhere.You just couldnt buy it all.We were on our way out to Kendall,KS to haul home a WD-40 McCormick that had like new 14x32's on it.

There used to be a junkyard at Selden,KS with 500-600 old tractors.All got scrapped.Another at Hoxie,KS so big you got lost in it.Sure wish I could have saved some of them.32" tires every where plus tons of steel wheels.

Now you cant hardly find a loose 32" tire.

That is just terrible to hear that. Just think now they would have brought triple the price of scrap now or more. When it is gone its gone and with no return.

Gee that must be a terrible problem to have owning a UDLX and can't find tires for it. Seems like about every couple months or so we see this problem come up on this forum.

Here are a couple of places that have something close to what you are looking for.

Hey guys be careful on size - the 12.75-32 became a 14-32 and subsequently a 16.9-32. The 12.4-32 is way too small for this tractor. Sources still best I know of - good luck.
