Hey fellas. I have a nice 5-star instrument panel in good shape. The glass is a little dirty, but all the needles are still intact and all instruments look good. I know about every one I have seen is cracked or messed up pretty bad, but I think this one might work. What is your experience with these things?

I can fix those dashes for you guys but depending on what they need it can get expensive.
If you need the speedo and tach rebuilt and all the other gauges it can get to 700.00 easy. I have fixed many over the years I put new glass in them get new gauges or rebuild them. But parts get harder to get all the time. I will try and post some pictures of ones i have fixed. What ever you do do not throw a dash away no matter how bad it looks.

Are you wanting to sell the instrument panel? If so how much are you asking? Does anyone have any extra instrument panels for sale

I'd sell it for the right price, but I'd want a lot for it since it is in great shape. I have a 5-star that needs it, but I'd consider parting with it.

Sounds like a find! I restored a 445 Utility a couple of years ago, and it had a complete dash. It was faded and dirty inside but all there. I took it all apart, sandblasted the housing and repainted it, cleaned the faces of the guages with plexiglass polish, repainted the needles with red fingernail polish, made new gaskets for the guages, and reassembled. looks like new. Have shown the tractor a few times and several people have ask where I found a new dash panel.

I was gonna rebuild mine but I can't find parts for it anywhere. I thought I had the sources but I guess not. Ours instruments were trashed in a hail storm a couple years ago and if I had owned it then I would have replaced the glass and all would have been fine but the last owner let it go so they are trashed now. I thought about building a custom panel with modern gauges too but anyone ever try finding a tach with a low enough range for a tractor? I can get digital but not anything authentic looking. Any ideas?
