front engine pulley?

do you have to run the pulley on the front of the motor on a 403? I do not run any accessories off the pulley (electric fan, no alternator or generator)

I wouldn't think you would have to unless it is a pulling tractor and the crank had been balanced with that pulley on it. But there is a spacer on the crank though that is between the gear and the fan pulley. If you remove the pulley you will have to come up with a way to keep it from working out the front and then the front oil seal will start to leak oil. That is a few things I that I can think of.
