I can buy a parts tractor that looks to have a good manifold and part it out, if I can sell enough parts off,it I will buy it.

I have a JTU with original Waukesha engine. If your tractor has the oil filter on the left side above the water pump it has the waukesha engine. If the oil filter is underneath, it has been changed to a Z or ZA engine, which was a popular thing to do.

If you have the Waukesha engine:

The oil filter is same as for a MM R, Z, ZB.

I was told that the pistons use the same rings as the R and Z. I haven't had mine apart so I haven't confirmed this.

Exhaust manifolds that are useable are tough to find. George Miller (website at gmmachine.com)put mine back together. I used Chevy exhaust manifold gaskets, because I couldn't find the right manifold gaskets locally.

The transmission is pretty much same as the MM Z, (The Z transmission was about 6" longer) but some clutch parts are different.

Brake parts should be same as the MM Z.

I'm told that Charlie Doty in Princeton IL is the man to talk to about these early molines. Sorry, I don't have his phone number.
