Robert,
1966 was the first year for the Super series. The U302 was built from 1964-1965 as a non-super model with styling similar to the M-602 series with the white "cigar band" type grill. Unfortunately its unknown how many LP narrow fronts were built. The front end designation was not unique to the serial #'s which means all the different front ends shared the same serial # range. The front ends could be swapped between tractors too. Also, the LP tractors shared the same serial # range as gasoline in 1966. I can tell you there were 1000 gasoline/LP U-302 tractors made in 1966.

If it was running good and straight, $3500 is not out of the picture.
