Hydraulic Ram UB Special

Is there an aftermarket Ram or Other that has the characteristics of the OEM MM ram, I need a dual action Ram that stays up when pump is neutral, I have read about a 'Pilot Controlled cross-port check valve' but am unsure of which one to buy to use a regular ram. A part number manufacturer for this valve would be great or a ram that works with the UB Hydraulic spool and pump.

Thanks Everyone, Mike I will call, you are about 6 hours south of me , do you get alot of sea spray corrossion down there? I just bought this UB from a guy to use with a shredder, I originally had no interest in restoring it. It ran , It was Cheap , I bought it. So far a really good purchase solid tractor. I hope to get this cyl/ram fixed and get to cutting and maybe restore it a lil later on, or trade it to a MM collector who wants it more than me. :)

Jim, a source for a check valve that will work is Welter's farm Supply, Verona MO. 417-498-6496. They also would probably have parts for the original-type cylinder if you decide to go that route.

I've never used one of those check valves myself, (not on Molines, anyway) But Welters has never steered me wrong on other stuff I bought from them. And I do know that the 'hump' on the side of the original cylinder does that same function.
